  • At Bloom, we offer classes for dancers at all ages, with all levels of experience!

Our classes are designed to welcome beginners while continuing to challenge dancers with prior experience. We also offer classes for adults, making it easy for dancers of all ages and skill levels to join the fun!

View our Ages & Levels Page for more information!

  • At Bloom, we primarily use the age of the dancer to place them in the correct level, so that they can learn and grow alongside peers of their same age and same level of dance ability/experience.

For Regular Season registration, determine the age of your child as of October 1st, and find the correct level based upon that age group. Our class schedules are conveniently color coded to match the age groups.

Learn more on our Ages & Levels Page.

  • For dancers age 13+, Bloom has implemented a skills component for certain dance styles.

This structuring improves class sizes and allows for better individual attention. You can learn more about leveling for our teen classes on our Ages & Levels Page.

Cultivate is a training program for dancers 7 years and up looking to be pushed, challenged, and given constructive feedback as they grow and excel in their Ballet and Jazz training. These classes are based on skill, not age. Get more information about Cultivate here.

  • If your Iris, Lily, or Bouquet (dancers ages 11+) is new to dance, we recommend one of the classes below as a wonderful place to begin.

Hip Hop: This class is ideal for dancers who are looking to get moving! Hip Hop focuses on rhythm, musicality, and basic footwork, and is a great introduction to dance for those who may prefer a more upbeat dance style.

Seeds: This class is designed to grow dancers in their dance skills, while allowing them to experience the power of worshiping God through movement. Enrollment in this class is based on age and not on skills, and is a wonderful place for those newer to dance (at any age) to begin.

Teen Dance (Ages 13+ only): This class is specifically created for dancers age 13+ who have always wanted to dance, but are just starting out. It focuses on contemporary movements while establishing dance basics at a pace suitable for new dancers. Enrollment in this class is based on age and not on skills.

  • At every level, instructors make it a priority to ensure that your child is being challenged. As always, if you are concerned that your child is not being challenged, please contact us to discuss other options! It’s important to our team that you feel your investment into your child’s dance instruction is worthwhile.

We ask that you register your child in the classes designed for their age (and skill for ages 13+). In the rare case that a dancer should be bumped up from their age group, our teachers, staff or owner will contact you.

We will be continually evaluating our dancers and making sure that they are in the most suitable class for their interest and skill level. We are also happy to consider adjustments mid-year for students who have fall birthdays and would like to jump to the next age group in January. (However, keep in mind that a swap fee will apply beginning November 1st.)

  • Visit our Class Descriptions page to learn about the many styles of dance Bloom offers. If you have further questions or would like a personalized recommendation for your child, please reach out to us at support@danceatbloom.com.

  • If your child seems to struggle with liking dance or coming to dance, please reach out to us to discuss your concerns. Our desire is that dance would be an enjoyable experience for your child!

There are usually two main reasons for a child stating that they "don't like dance":

    1. Either the child truly does not enjoy dance and may prefer a different activity.

    2. Or (more likely) the child is in a class that is not a fit for them. (For example, if Sarah is a fast-paced, active girl, she may "not like" ballet, but she may love hip hop!)

If your child falls into the first category, he/she is welcome to withdraw from class(es), but if you believe that your child is enrolled in an ill-fitting class, our team specializes in helping you to find the perfect class for your child!

In the event that a student chooses to withdraw from a class, we require that you notify us by the 20th of the month to avoid a tuition payment on the 1st of the following month. A Class Withdrawal Form must be completed and received by the studio. Please email support@danceatbloom.com for a form or for more information on this policy. You are not under contract and withdrawing from classes is always an option.

  • If your child has special needs, there is a place for them at Bloom! We offer an Adaptive Dance Class, our Thrive Program, for dancers who may not excel in a typical classroom environment.

If you are unsure whether Thrive or a typical dance classroom would be the best fit for your child, please email support@danceatbloom.com or call (402-670-7206) to talk with our team!

  • Combo classes are a wonderful way for students to be exposed to two kinds of dance within one class period! Classes will divide their time in class between two types of dance, and students ages 5 and up will perform two recital dances, with two costumes at the end of the year performance.

  • Bloom’s dress code varies depending on a dancer’s level and dance class style. Please visit our Dress Code Page for more information.

  • For the Regular Season, the cost of our classes comes to an annual total, but for the convenience of our families, we break down that total and spread it over nine monthly installments (September - May).

To make budgeting for dance classes more simple, Bloom’s monthly tuition payment structure is an all-inclusive format. Your monthly tuition includes:

    • Class Tuition

    • Recital Costume(s) and Tights

    • Costume Alterations

We require that our families enroll in Auto Pay to pay their monthly balance. Read more about Bloom’s policies here.

  • For the Regular Season, we only offer makeup classes before January 31st, in cases where a student misses class due to illness or another conflict. Up to three make-up classes are allowed per dancer per semester.

Absences: Absences should be logged in your parent portal (click on the ATTENDANCE “check mark” icon).

Inclement Weather: If class is cancelled due to inclement weather, dancers may also request a make-up class, which does not count towards the three allowed make-ups. (Make-ups are only allowed prior to January 31st.)

Any and all make-up classes should be scheduled with your Studio Manager (contact support@danceatbloom.com).
